Getting there: Authorized airport taxis (Aeromovil) and shuttles (Transportes Terrestres) provide the most convenient ways to make the journey from the airport to the resort. Getting around: The resort is located on the beach in the Marina Vallarta area, five miles north of downtown Puerto Vallarta. Many restaurants, shopping centers, and nightclubs are within easy walking distance of the resort. Public busses offer an inexpensive way to travel throughout the city: less than $5 US. Once in downtown Puerto Vallarta, most tourist attractions and shopping areas are easily accessible by foot. Taxis provide a convenient way to cover greater distances within the city and its environs. Taxi rates in Puerto Vallarta are determined by zones. A list outlining taxi rates throughout the city is available at the resort front desk and should also be posted in each cab: $5–15 US average.
